1. Preparation and protection before installation

During installation, operators need to wear protective equipment (such as protective glasses, masks, gloves and overalls) and choose a well-ventilated and brightly-lit place to operate in order to minimize the inhalation of dust and dust. In addition, special tools (e.g., ceramic disc or diamond disc cutter) should be used when cutting FRP grating walkway, and the cutter should be fixed to prevent movement.

2. Cutting and size processing

The cutting of FRP grating should be carried out according to the actual demand, and the size check should be carried out after cutting to ensure that the size deviation is within the permissible range (e.g. the deviation of length and width is -6mm-0mm, and the deviation of round diameter is -9.5mm-0mm). The cut surface should be coated with resin to prevent corrosion.

3. Installation position and fixing method

Before installation, you need to clean the ground or installation location to ensure that the surface is smooth and free of debris. Installation can use brackets or frames to fix the grille, according to the use of the environment to choose the support structure (such as fiberglass frame, stainless steel frame or ordinary steel frame). Fixing methods include using M-type, L-type, C-type stainless steel clamps for fixing, or using bolts, nuts, hole-centered rivets and other connection methods.

4. Seam and sealing treatment

At the joints of the grille cover, sealing treatment should be carried out with sealant or other sealing materials to prevent water and dust penetration.

5. Inspection and maintenance after installation

After the installation is completed, it is necessary to check whether the installation is firm to ensure that there is no looseness or displacement. At the same time, regular cleaning and maintenance, avoid using sharp tools or heavy objects to touch the surface of the grille.
